Maps is an easy win for bf1. Battlefield 1 has some of the best maps the series ever seen. It murders bf4 and bf5 in terms of map design. In bfv, everyone uses any pistol (except the nambu and liberator) cus there isnt much variety there. I give credit to bf1 for actually having pistol skins.

Just port the Refractor Engine games (1942 - 2142) to modern platforms and I'll start paying money into this series again. I would legitimately pay for a decent port of the Refractor Era for Battlefield. BF1942, Vietnam, BF2 and 2142 - 2 and 2142 especially deserve to get a simple port with some basic QOL functionality. Really loved both but if 5 is my favorite by a thin margin. BF1 maps are better. Bf1 has GREAT atmosphere and unique gadgets/weapons. BfV has better gunplay and mechanics/vehicles (the tanks are SO GOOD TO DRIVE) So either horses, blimps and immersion or German tanks, more modern weapons, and gameplay. I've noticed I've developed 2 adjacent muscle memory aiming mechanics. One for hipfire/tracking and another for ADS finetune aiming. So here is what I would like to do; I'd like to turn uniform aiming on but then slow down the zoom to possibly 80-90 percent.
